Four suspects sought after man stabbed in Hockley

Four suspects are being sought after a 29-year-old man was stabbed in the Hockley area of Nottingham during the early hours of Sunday morning.

The incident happened at around 12.40am today (Sunday, September 10) in the Broad Street area.

Police say four suspects are being sought in connection with the incident.

The victim suffered injuries which were described by police as "not believed to be life threatening or altering". He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre for treatment.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Officers are appealing for information after a 29-year-old man was stabbed.

"It is believed the incident happened in the Broad Street area of the city centre at around 12.40am today. Police were called about the incident after the man attended the Queen's Medical Centre. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or altering.

"The suspects are described as four black men wearing dark clothing and hoodies.

"Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area or anyone with information to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 56 of 10 September 2017."
