Derby man denies five counts of sexual activity with underage boy

A man has denied five counts of sexual activity with an underage boy.

Christopher Norbury, of Stenson Fields, Derby, appeared at Derby Crown Court today where he pleaded not guilty to sexual assault of a boy under the age of 16, engaging in sexual activity with the boy and three charges of sexually touching the boy.

The alleged offences are said to have happened in Repton on September 24.

What's been happening in the courts?

Norbury, 48, of Brindley Walk, is due to appear again at Derby Crown Court on June 18 next year for a trial, which is expected to last up to four days.

He has been bailed until that date on condition he does not contact the alleged victim or any child under the age of 16.
