Female runner attacked by man on Derby cycle path

Police are hunting a man who attacked a woman while she ran along a cycle path in Mickleover.

The incident happened at about 8pm on Sunday, September 10, while the 27-year-old woman was running along a cycle path.

At the junction of the path and Onslow Road, she was approached by a man who demanded her phone, which she did not have.

He punched her and took some small change from her before leaving.

Derbyshire police say the man who robbed her is described as black with facial stubble. He wore all black clothing and white pumps.
