Man remanded in custody following alleged robberies in Chilwell

A man has appeared in court today (September 13) following a series of alleged robberies in the Chilwell and Beeston area over the weekend.

Twenty-four-year-old Claudiu Rosu was remanded in custody after appearing in Nottinghamshire Magistrates' Court today in connection with the alleged robberies.

Rosu, of no fixed address, has been charged with three robberies, three attempted robberies and a theft all taking place on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10.

He is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court, via a video link, on October 13.
