A pair of thugs on mopeds robbed a group of 16-year-old boys in a terrifying attack near Raynesway in Derby.
The teenagers were cycling along a path beside the River Derwent when two moped riders pulled up in front and blocked their way.
The thugs jumped off their bikes and threatened the boys before stealing a Samsung phone from one of the victims.
Police said the louts punched all three of the teenagers but police say they did not suffer any serious injuries.
The incident happened at 4pm on August 23.
A Derbyshire police spokesman said: “Although it has been a few weeks since the robbery, we are now appealing for information from anyone who might know the offenders.
“One of the moped riders was wearing a purple Derby County away shirt with the name Forsyth and the number four on the back.
“The second moped rider was wearing a grey puffer jacket with an orange zip. Both of them were white.”
The T-shirt is particularly distinctive as Forsyth wears the number three shirt.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 17000 361921.
