A woman and two dogs were rescued from a house fire in Long Eaton on Thursday night (Sep 14).
Derbyshire Police were also called to the scene, however it is not believed to have been started deliberately, the Derby Telegraph reported.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews from Long Eaton to a house in Granville Avenue in the town at 8.52pm.
One crew from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were also called to the scene, following a report of a house fire with people inside.
A spokesman for the Derbyshire service said there were no serious injuries.
He said: “Crews confirmed that the fire was in the kitchen. They rescued one female and two dogs.
“The lady was handed over to East Midlands Ambulance Service and she did go to hospital, but we do believe that the injuries were not serious.”
He said crews left at 9.36pm.
