An 18-year-old wounded in an alleged fight on Chaddesden Racecourse is thought to have been attacked with a knife.
The Derby Telegraph previously reported how Derbyshire police said the incident was believed to have taken place in St Mark's Road at about 7.30pm on Monday, October 23.
Now they have said it actually took place on the Racecourse itself between 7.30pm and 8.05pm.
They have revealed he had injuries to his face, leg and arms, "consistent with the use of a blade".
Another 18-year-old man has been arrested and released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Earlier this week, a police spokeswoman said the two involved in the fight were "known to each other" and that the injuries were not serious.
It is unknown whether the other person involved suffered any injuries.
