A car wash service station could be turned into a pizza takeaway shop in a Nottinghamshire town - bringing ten new jobs.
The site in Clipstone Road West, Mansfield - which covers 1,502.7 sq m - is currently used as a car wash.
Plans were submitted and validated by Mansfield District Council on October 25 to change the shop at the car wash into a pizza shop.
If it is approved by the council, the new business would see seven full-time jobs and three part-time roles created.
A planning application submitted by a private developer said: "The proposal will not have any negative impact on the site or the surroundings.
"It will regenerate the site and bring positive contribution to the area.
"The shop is unlikely to be busy during the day hence two parking spaces will be dedicated to the customers."
Two car parking spaces were submitted as part of the plans for customer use.
Proposed opening hours for the shop will be Monday to Sunday 10.30am to 12am.
