A second driver has died following a head-on crash near New Whittington, Chesterfield, last weekend.
The incident, involving a Volkswagen Bora and a Ford C-Max, happened in Whittington Road at around 5pm on Sunday, October 22.
Michael Bradshaw from Chesterfield, who was driving the C-Max, was taken by air ambulance to Northern General Hospital in Sheffield but has now died.
A photograph of the 72-year-old has been released by his family.
The driver of the Bora, 30-year-old Daniel Spooner from Newbold, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police and paramedics attended the scene, along with firefighters, who put out a blaze when one of the vehicles caught fire after impact.
