Named and shamed: drivers caught behind the wheel without insurance

The following motorists have recently been convicted at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court of driving without insurance:

Andrea Bennett, 54, of Burnside Drive, Derby, was fined £440, was ordered to pay £85 costs, a £44 victim surcharge and had her licence endorsed with six penalty points for an offence in Main Street, Long Eaton, on December 30.

Roland Berezovskis (corr), 37, of Havelock Road, Derby, was fined £660, was ordered to pay £85 costs, a £66 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for an offence in Princes Street, Derby, on December 30.

Neil Caldicott, 60, of Lime Crescent, Belper, was fined £80, was ordered to pay £85 costs, a £30 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for an offence on the A38 in Derby on January 3.

Anastazja Czowhaniuk (both corr), 18, of Westminster Street, Alvaston, was fined £87, was ordered to pay £85 costs, a £30 victim surcharge and had her licence endorsed with six penalty points for an offence in Thorndike Avenue, Derby, on January 29.
