'Pedestrian hit by bus' in Nottingham city centre

A pedestrian is believed to have been hit by a bus in Nottingham city centre.

Nottinghamshire Police are on the scene in Upper Parliament Street and a cordon is in place around the bus.

The incident is thought to have happened at around 7.20pm

The bus, a park and ride link, can be seen in the road while one police car is behind it.

Police have said they currently do not know what time the road will re-open.

The condition of the pedestrian is unknown.
