Motocyclist who died in north Nottinghamshire crash with tractor is named

A motorcyclist who died in a crash on Friday afternoon has been named by police.

The collision, which took place between a motorcycle and a tractor, took place at around 3.40pm on Friday, October 27 in Retford Road, near Lound.

Man rescued from flat fire in the early hours

The motorcyclist has been named by Nottinghamshire Police as Mark Osborne, aged 50, of Mattersey Thorpe.

He was taken by air ambulance to hospital in Sheffield, where he later died.

An appeal for information has been made by police.

A spokesman said: "Anyone who witnessed the collision, has any information about the collision or has dash cam footage is urged to please call us on 101, quoting incident 565 of 27 October 2017."
