Trams come to a halt after incident at High School tram stop

Trams were not passing through the High School tram station, following an incident.

No trams passed through the site for 20 minutes while the incident was dealt with.

It's not yet clear what sort of incident caused the trams to stop, near the Sainsbury's Local, in Waverley Street.

Collision involving three cars at Nuthall roundabout

An NET statement said: "NCT is accpting our tram passes and tickets on the NCT brown purple and yellow lines from Mansfiled Road. We are currently awaiting for an ambulance to the area."

It was first reported at 9.30am, and the route was cleared at 9.50am

The tram has now re-opened in both directions.
