A car was left on its roof and two people were injured in a Ripley crash.
The collision took place in Heage Road at around 11am today and was witnessed by ambulance service staff.
Police and paramedics were at the scene shortly after the crash which involved a black Ford C-Max and an Abarth hatchback.
A spokesperson from East Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 11:01 this morning to Heage Road in Ripley. The caller reported a car was on its roof.
"A crew from our Patient Transport Service (PTS) were travelling through Ripley when they came across the incident. They were able to help the patients from the vehicle while the ambulance arrived. Two patients had minor injuries and were treated at the scene."
Derbyshire police confirmed they attended the incident at 11am and that the road was closed until 12.45pm. It has now reopened.
