15-year-old boy denies raping girl at Nottingham school

A 15-year-old boy has denied the rape of female student at a Nottingham school.

He made a 16-minute appearance at Nottingham Crown Court, where a trial was arranged.

This is due to begin on April 30 and is expected to last for two days.

The allegation dates from November 9. The teenager is currently in custody after initially appearing before a special session of Nottingham Youth Court.

The boy, whose identity cannot be revealed, also faces charges of having a lock knife on school premises on November 9 and 10.

He was represented by Katrina Wilson, who said that an application for bail might be made at a later hearing.
