How the Nottingham train station fire is affecting city centre roads

Fire broke out at Nottingham train station at around 6.30am on Friday morning, and since then the roads in the area have been suffering.

Here's the latest, according to traffic service Inrix. We will update this as and when we have more information.

Queen's Road (A6008)

Queen's Road is open one way - east to west - meaning traffic can travel from London Road to Carrington Street.

Station Street

This road is fully open to pedestrians and taxis are being moved from the east side of Trent Street to make room for rail replacement buses.

Carrington Street

This road is now open, following an earlier closure.
