Man collapses in the city centre near intu Broadmarsh

A man is being treated by the ambulance service after he collapsed in the city centre.

East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to Carrington Street, near the intu Broadmarsh just after 11am this morning (January 12).

It is not known what his condition is but a crewed ambulance was sent to the scene.

Carrington Street was closed for much of this morning following a major fire at Nottingham railway station, although it has now reopened.

A spokeswoman said: "We received a call at 11.06am on 12 January to Carrington Street in Nottingham.

"The caller reported that someone had collapsed. We sent a crewed ambulance and are currently on scene."
