The owner of a hairdressers in Ruddington has released pictures showing the damage that was caused after a burglary.
The Classic Cuts hairdressers in Ruddington High Street was targeted by burglars on Wednesday, January 10.
Police are now appealing for witnesses after three men were seen leaving the area at the time of the burglary.
A window was smashed and a search was carried out by the burglars, who took money from the premises.
Traysi Kirk, the owner of the hairdressers, said the burglary was a shock.
She said: " I was just devastated by it all really, the shock that someone could do this; and the mess inside was unreal.
"There was just glass everywhere on every surface, it was a lot to take in at the time, it was just horrible and very upsetting and unnerving.
"It has caused inconvenience, stress, mess, upset, anger and put me out of pocket for actually very little gain on the criminals' part."
Mrs Kirk said that the support from the community had helped following the incident.
She added: "Everyone in the village has been really supportive and helpful since it happened. I’m so grateful to everybody that helped out on the evening and the next day.
"Also my staff who helped me clean up the mess, it makes you realise there are more good people out there than bad."
Nottinghamshire Police have made an appeal for CCTV and witnesses after three males were seen leaving the area in a dark coloured Ford vehicle.
Nottinghamshire Police said: ""The window was smashed at around 10.18pm and three males have removed items from inside before leaving the area in a dark coloured Ford vehicle.
"Did you see a vehicle acting suspiciously in the area around this time ? Do you have any CCTV that may have captured the car leaving on Church Street or The Green ?
"If you have any information regarding this crime please contact 101 quoting inc 877-10012018."
