This is what's happening with ALL the rail routes running through Nottingham train station today

Following a 12-hour fire at Nottingham railway station on Friday, the building is now back in business.

Trains are running to and from the station, but there is a reduced service due to the closure of platform 6 and 7.

Some East Midlands Trains routes are being disrupted at the station today, Saturday 13th, with buses replacing trains.

East Midlands Trains has said that all other networks are expected to run as scheduled and East Midlands Trains tickets will be accepted on the Cross Country line, Northern line between Worksop and Sheffield, and Nottingham Express Transit between Nottingham and Hucknall.

London St Pancras / Nottingham route (East Midlands Trains)

From Nottingham to London: Trains that depart from Nottingham at five past the hour will run normally, however, trains that normally depart at 32 minutes past will instead leave from East Midlands Parkway.

From London to Nottingham: Trains that depart from London at quarter past will now terminate at East Midlands parkway and trains that depart at 29 minutes past will run as normal.

A bus shuttle service will run between East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham.

Leicester / Nottingham / Lincoln route (East Midlands Trains)

Trains on these routes will run between Leicester and Loughborough and between Nottingham and Lincoln only.

Customers travelling between Loughborough and Nottingham are being advised to use alternative rail and bus services.

Nottingham / Grantham / Skegness route (East Midlands Trains)

Trains will run as normal on these routes.

Matlock / Derby / Nottingham route (East Midlands Trains)

Trains will run between Matlock and Derby only. A bus replacement will be running between Nottingham and Derby.

Nottingham / Mansfield / Worksop route (East Midlands Trains)

There will be no trains running on this route instead there will be replacement buses

Liverpool / Nottingham / Norwich route (East Midlands Trains)

Trains will run as normal on these routes

Nottingham / Cardiff Central / Birmingham route (CrossCountry Trains)

Fire at Nottingham railway station

The fire is believed to have started in a toilet before spreading to the roof space.

It did most damage to the newer extended part of the station, which has access to platforms 6 and 7.

The Grade II* listed part of the building, built in 1848, was left unscathed.
