Edward Cooper Young (ECY), the professional services provider to the land, property and construction sectors has established a dedicated care team.

The Loughborough-based chartered surveying firm, which employs over 40 staff, says it has a strong record in advising and delivering projects in this sector, with over 150 care related schemes completed over the last 12 years.

The new team will be led by Shivam Radia, who has been with the firm for over five years working predominately on care and medical projects. Radia will be joined by a team of six surveyors and a client co-ordinator. The team will be managed by the firm’s senior partner, Ashley Cooper.

Radia said: “This Team’s creation is the natural evolution based upon the developments and clients we have worked on and with over the years. It will allow us to fully focus on delivering care projects of which we have such a wide and detailed knowledge base.

“Ashley Cooper, senior partner, said: “The formation of a dedicated care team within the business forms the next part of our long-term business plan. We have a strong track record, within the industry, of providing excellent advice and solutions for the delivery of care related projects.

“This enables the practice to provide an even better platform to service our clients – we are very excited about the future of this team and what it can achieve.”
