There is a warning to parents dropping children off at school to keep a two-metre distance from each other.
The issue was discussed in a public health briefing today hosted by Alison Challenger, director of Public Health at Nottingham City Council and Jonathan Gribbin, director of public health at Nottinghamshire County Council.
It comes as 10 schools in the county have now had confirmed cases of the virus. Earlier this week, a picture taken at pick up time at Sycamore Academy in St Ann's showed parents gathering at the main gates without maintaining social distancing.
