Police say a woman has been charged for being in possession of a large knife in Derby city centre.

The knife was seized by Derbyshire police officers at St Peter's Street just after 4pm on Thursday.

Details of the incident and a picture of the knife in question was posted by the Derby Response Unit last night.

However, the tweet and picture has since been deleted.
