A Leicester student 'involved in violence around the city' has been jailed for a catalogue of offences, including drug-dealing and possession of 'rambo-style knives'.
Christopher Sillah, 24, was sentenced when he appeared at Leicester Crown Court on Thursday.
Sillah pleaded guilty to six counts of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and three counts of possession of a knife blade/sharp-pointed article in a public place.
The court heard that on January 31 last year, a car being driven by Sillah was stopped by police in St Nicholas Circle, in the city centre, after he had earlier been seen by officers exchanging items with a group of people in the city.
