The wife of a man who died after he was hit by a van has paid a heartbreaking tribute to the 'best father, teacher and husband you could ever imagine.'
Michal Michalski, 40, was knocked down by a vehicle as he walked along Parker Drive, Leicester, on September 2 at around 4.20pm.
Leicestershire Police confirmed Michal suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment.
He died on September 4, three days before his 41st birthday.
