Dramatic pictures show shell of arson-hit car

The fire service has released shocking pictures of the burnt-out wreck of a car which was targeted in an arson attack.

Crews from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service's (LFRS) Market Bosworth station were called to the incident in the early hours of yesterday.

A spokesperson for the service said the car on fire was in Merrylees Road, Botcheston, just past the Greyhound pub, and the service also said on social media that crews had dealt with two vehicles on fire within two miles of each other.

The fire service released an image of the car, by the side of a road, which was involved in the fire - of which a burnt out wreck only
