A Lincoln restaurant is offering customers a free drink in a twist on the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
The Old Bakery Restaurant has teamed up with wine supplier Hallgarten to launch their own 'drink out to help out' scheme, offering diners a complimentary glass of wine for the last two weeks of September.
The family-owned business didn't participate in the government subsidised EOTHO discount scheme since the restaurant wasn't open on the days it ran, Monday to Wednesday.
But not participating hasn't harmed the business, said Tracey de Serio, who has run the restaurant with husband, chef Ivano, for 16 years.
