The English Football League are set to host more pilot matches with crowds this weekend, after being granted permission by the government to allow up to 1,000 fans into some games.
And that will come as a boost for Nottingham Forest supporters' hopes of being allowed back into the City Ground in the near future.
The Reds' final nine games of last season, following the Championship's restart, all took place behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.
And the current campaign, too, has started without any crowds inside stadiums.
