Leicester City are not losing sight of their need for a new creative player.
The club’s transfer focus of late has been on signing a new centre-back with Brendan Rodgers short of numbers in defence for the start of the season, Wilfred Ndidi called upon to fill in alongside Caglar Soyuncu against West Brom.
But at the end of the last campaign, Rodgers made it clear that signing a new creative player was his main hope for the window.
He said after City lost to Manchester United and missed out on a Champions League place: “To challenge the sides above it's about getting more creativity. We would like more creativity at the top end.”
