Test centres for Covid-19 are being set up across Broxtowe as public health officials look to curb a flare-up in localised cases.

Nottinghamshire County Council has revealed a mobile testing unit will remain in place until Friday (September 18), with people experiencing coronavirus symptoms encouraged to register for a test.

It follows spikes in areas across the borough, with Broxtowe's case rate per 100,000 people hitting 37.7 in the week to September 10.

This is higher than any other area in Nottinghamshire, with 43 new cases recorded in the borough in this seven-day window.
