Queen’s Hospital in Burton has seen an increase in Covid-19 positive patients as parts of the town are threatened with a second lockdown.
Meanwhile, the number of Covid patients at the Royal Derby Hospital has dropped to zero, as of noon today (Monday, September 14).
The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust has confirmed the current figures at both sites to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
These figures show that Burton’s recent increase in cases is resulting in more hospitalised patients.
The hospital trust also confirmed that there were 22 Covid patients at Queen’s last Monday (September 7) - a quarter of the number it had during the peak of the pandemic
