Derbyshire pub closes until weekend after staff member tests positive for Covid-19

A Derbyshire pub has been forced to close "until the weekend" after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus.

The Royal Oak at Hurdlow, within the Peak District, shared the news on its Facebook page.

The team at the site say they are deep cleaning and sanitising all areas of the pub and campsite as well as getting staff tested.

They are urging customers to bear with them during this "difficult time".

The information, which was posted 22 hours ago, reads: "Unfortunately we have had to make the extremely difficult decision to close until the weekend.

"We have had a staff member test positive for coronavirus.

"This is an isolated case and the staff member
