A £200 million to put up for hundreds of new apartments and a 3,500-capacity venue in Derby city centre have taken another step forward.
A new application has been submitted to gain planning consent for more details of one of the city’s biggest regeneration sites.
Developer St James Securities wants to build 259 apartments at Becketwell which, subject to approval, could get underway in the spring.
The Leeds-based company gained committee approval at the start of 2020, with outline permission for formally granted a week ago, as well as detailed planning approval to develop the centrepiece of the scheme, a new public square.
