Leicester City icon Emile Heskey has returned to the club to help mentor the next generation of players in the women’s team.
Heskey, one of the city’s favourite sons and one of the best players to emerge from the club’s academy, will provide support to young stars following the same path he did 25 years ago as they move up the ranks from the youth sides and into the first team.
The former England striker has been studying on a Uefa course designed to prepare ex-players for leadership roles behind the scenes in the game, and he will take up his first position at his former club.
