A man from Leicester who lost his leg in a motorbike accident had been announced as a contestant for this year's The Great British Bake Off.
Today the show announced the list of this year's bakers, which include Marc from Leicester, who now lives in Cornwall.
The 51-year-old is a support worker who took up baking as a form of therapy after he lost his leg in 2016 when he was involved in a motorbike accident.
A post on the show's Facebook page says: "Marc decided to enter Bake Off in a bid to show his daughters that even when life throws obstacles at you, you can rise to new challenges and develop new passions.
