Man who drank 'around six pints of lager' attacks train station worker

A man slapped a worker at Derby train station after he was kicked off his train home.

Kristian Harrison became angry with her when he was asked to leave the train to Chesterfield, his home town.

Harrison, 34, rushed over to her and slapped her on the back and shoulders.

The autistic man, of Kirkstone Road, Newbold, pleaded guilty to assault and was fined by the court.

Peter Bettany, prosecuting, said: “The victim says that on March 15, she was working at Derby Midland Railway Station.

“A little before 7.45pm she saw a man who she did not know on platform one. He appeared to be drunk and he went out on to the platform
