A huge car park could be built on land to the east of Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre (QMC).
Developers want to build a 1,500 space multi-storey on land off Leen Gate, next to the River Leen, in Lenton.
Architects Jackson Design Associates are working on the planning application on behalf of Mansfield-based Minster Developments.
Planning documents state it would serve the neighbouring hospital and go up on a site used by Bell fruit machines.
The documents state: “The proposed development consists of five storeys of parking and circa 1,500 parking spaces including provision for disabled bays, active and passive electric vehicle charging bays and integrated solar arrays to reduce the carbon footprint.
