A glass recycling company has bought the North West depot it has occupied for the past 12 years as part of a multi-million pound deal it says will secure its future at the site, develop operations and hire more staff.
Recresco announced the deal with Peel Ports to purchase the site in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, with the deal one of a number of other investments made by the firm.
Recresco, founded in Norfolk in 1978 and headquartered in Nottingham, operates an additional site in Cwmbran, South Wales.
The Ellesmere Port site is its largest facility, covering around 12 acres and neighbouring the Greater Manchester Ship Canal.
