A fourth confirmed coronavirus case has led to children being sent home from a special school in the city.
A text message sent to parents of pupils at Ellesmere College said that four cases have now been reported in connection with the Braunstone Lane school, which has 306 students from early years to post 16 with special educational needs.
The message, sent this lunchtime, states that children in the 'primary and connecting and responding bubble' will need to self-isolate.
“On the advice of Public Health England following a 4th confirmed case, we are closing our primary amd connecting and responding ‘bubble’ including Elm class, until 28th September,” the message said.
