Around fifteen new family homes could be built in Hucknall.
The plans to build new affordable houses to rent in the town were given the green light this week but build will depend upon funding being agreed from Homes England.
If successful it's hoped work would start in early 2021.
Utilising garage sites across the town, the homes would be let at affordable rents.
Garage sites at Barbara Square, Hawthorne Avenue, Chestnut Grove and Chatsworth Drive have all been earmarked for the project.
