Parents at a Nottinghamshire school say they fear it will "take a child getting seriously hurt" before action is taken to curb dangerous driving at its gates.
The parents, at Brierley Forest Primary and Nursery School in Sutton-in-Ashfield, say traffic outside the site has been getting "so bad" for a number of years that they fear a fatality could happen.
The school gates, at Westbourne View on the Carsic Estate, were once monitored by a 'lollipop lady' until a couple of years ago.
However, since she retired there has been no replacement - and parents say the issue has got "out of hand".
