Pregnant couple want to keep children home from school after positive virus cases confirmed

A Nottinghamshire family have decided to keep their children home after two coronavirus cases were confirmed at their school.

Oak Tree Primary School in Mansfield confirmed some children and staff were sent home to isolate after two positive results for Covid-19.

The head teacher, Kate Watson, explained from the beginning of the week (September 14) children and staff in Nursery and some Year 3 and 4s were sent home.

Hannah and Christopher Marshall, who are expecting a baby, have two children at Oak Tree Primary School.

Although neither child is in one of the isolating bubbles, due to Hannah's high-risk pregnancy and Christopher's history of health problems, they feel it is too risky to keep
