Turnover and pre-tax profits rose at a Birmingham-headquartered education catering group during the year it was acquired by a French counterpart, new documents have revealed.
Alliance in Partnership (AiP), which includes The Contract Dining Company and Class Catering Services, was snapped up by Sodexo for an undisclosed sum towards the end of 2018.
The deal provided an exit for private equity firm Key Capital Partners.
Newly filed documents for AiP, which was founded in 1998, have now revealed that its turnover increased from £25.8m to £31.1m in the year to 31 August 2019 while its pre-tax profits went from £613,791 to £903,810.
