Robertson Construction has begun work on one of four new primary schools being built in Aberdeen as part of a £100 million investment by Aberdeen City Council.
The work on the new £16 million replacement Milltimber School within the Oldfold Farm development got under way on 24 August. The new building will replace the existing school at Mornearn Gardens, and it is expected it will take around 70 weeks to complete.
The single-storey building will include 14 classrooms and activity areas, as well as an all-weather 3G synthetic sports pitch. The new school will also offer increased capacity of 434 pupils, this doubles the amount of students, and the new building will be better
