Construction of a new £4.85 million, two-storey early years and infant building at Withernsea Primary School in Holderness, East Riding of Yorkshire, has begun.
The new project will see the construction of 11 classrooms, a hall, studio, kitchen with servery, offices and staff facilities. In total the plans will cover 1,35 square feet of gross internal floor area.
The scheme which is being delivered by Henry Boot Construction (HBC) and will retain the school’s original Victorian schoolhouse, a heritage asset, and will be used for further educational use.
