Hunt saboteur accused of lying to police says he stands by his story

A hunt saboteur accused of lying to police and tampering with video evidence has claimed in court that he didn't commit either crime.

David Graham told a jury at Leicester Crown Court that he was genuinely kicked and punched by the landowner as he was crossing farmland while monitoring the activities of Atherstone Hunt in Newton Burgoland, on Saturday March 5, 2016.

Graham is on trial at Leicester Crown Court, where he denies two counts of perverting the course of justice, by making a false complaint of assault and providing Leicestershire Police with two copies of video recorded evidence, which he knew had been altered in support of the assault allegation against farmer, Henry Milner, also
