Four schools in and around Nottinghamshire have confirmed cases of Covid-19 today (September 17).
It takes the total number of schools in the area to record positive tests to 30 since the start of term.
The first school to confirm a positive test was Portland Spencer Academy, in Westwick Road, Nottingham, which says that one year group is currently not in school as a result of the test.
The Spencer Academy Trust, which manages the school, confirmed to Nottinghamshire Live the case was recorded among teaching staff at the site.
A spokesperson said: "School is not open for one year group today (September 17) following a positive case of Covid-19.
