Organisers of a popular beer and cider festival in Nottingham have announced its cancellation following "continuing uncertainty" over the coronavirus pandemic.
The Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival was due to be held in November at the Motorpoint Arena, with organisers Nottingham CAMRA initially "determined" to make sure it took place.
The festival usually takes place in October, but it was moved back in order to assess ongoing guidance from the Government on social gatherings and distancing.
However, following last week's announcement on the 'Rule of Six' and what organisers describe as "continuing uncertainty", running the festival was deemed "a risk too far".
