Woman 'left in tears' after finding homophobic not left in her Wilko work locker

Officials at homeware giant Wilko have launched an investigation after a member of staff claimed she found a 'homophobic' note in her locker.

Pamela Clinton, 35, was left in tears and felt she had no other option but to resign after the incident.

The alleged note read: "**** ***** LEAVE. NO ONE LIKES YOU!"

"I was absolutely mortified. I'd like to think I'm a confident individual but when it comes to my sexuality I am quite - not nervous - but it's something I am quite conscious about," said Miss Clinton, who worked as a customer assistant at the Arnold store, in Front Street.
