A Derbyshire-headquartered hospital beds maker and manager has hailed its latest financial year as one of "significant progress" for the company.
Medstrom is the only independent provider of bed management services to the NHS and manages more than 20 per cent of the UK’s acute beds and mattresses.
It also supplies specialist products and services to more than 150 hospitals in the UK and Ireland.
The Castle Donington-based business has reported a turnover of £17.6m and pre-tax profits of £527,435 for the 12 months to 31 December 2019.
Those figures compare to a turnover of £21.2m and profits of £1.8m in 2018.
