Building work at a new housing development in Frisby on the Wreake has reached the final stages, with just three homes now remaining for sale.
Bellway East Midlands is building 53 new homes at Steeple Chase, off Great Lane in the village, with a choice of two or five-bedroom detached homes now available.
Finishing touches are currently being made to the final properties, ready for their new residents to move in, and work on the site as a whole is scheduled to finish in March next year.
Claire Black, Sales Manager at Bellway East Midlands, said: “Properties at Steeple Chase have been selling very quickly recently, with many buyers taking advantage of the temporary stamp duty holiday announced by the Chancellor in the summer to make a move to a home which better suits their needs.
“The development is ideal for those wanting to live in a peaceful rural setting, with village amenities on the doorstep, just four miles from Melton Mowbray’s town centre and good transport links to nearby towns and cities such as Leicester and Nottingham.
“The wide range of properties has attracted a variety of different buyers looking to settle in the area, including commuters and families.
“Although we’ve sold all but three of the new homes at Steeple Chase, we also have homes for sale at nearby Waltham Heights in Waltham-on-the-Wolds and have started building at Roman Gate, our forthcoming development off Leicester Road in Melton Mowbray, so home-hunters can still enjoy the benefits of buying a high-quality new Bellway home.”
The final homes for sale at Steeple Chase include the two-bedroom detached Bowden, priced from £323,500, and a choice of five-bedroom detached houses from £565,000.
Bellway has a five-star rating from the Home Builders Federation, based on the HBF’s National New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey – in which more than nine out of ten Bellway customers said they would recommend the housebuilder to a friend.
